2009 Freeware useful for your work - Revo Uninstaller
When we uninstall a program from Window XP / Vista, we usually use the "Add / Remove Program" function within the Control Panel. It is easy to use but it carries lot of problems. Unecessary files, folders and registry keys are usually left over on your computer. This takes up space (well, you may not care because the hard-disk is so cheap) and also slows down the startup of Windows. To resolve this problem, "Revo Uninstaller" can be used
Official description:
Revo Uninstaller is a freeware innovative uninstall utility much faster than Windows Add/Remove applet. With its advanced and fast algorithm, Revo Uninstaller scans before and after you uninstall an application. After the program's regular uninstaller runs, you can remove additional unnecessary files, folders and registry keys that are usually left over on your computer. Even if you have a broken installation, Revo Uninstaller scans for an application's data on your hard disk drives and in the Windows registry and shows all found files, folders and registry items so you can delete them.
My Comments:
An easy and powerful tool. A must-have for those who love to test around programs like me. I have been using it for long time and never come across any problem.
